【Indications】.

It can be used for the prevention of rejection of homologous kidney transplant patients, and the treatment of refractory rejection, and can be applied simultaneously with cyclosporine and adrenocorticotropic hormone.

【Usage and Dosage】

Dosage for prevention of rejection

It should be started within 72 hours of transplantation. The recommended dose for kidney transplant patients is 1 gram twice a day (2 grams a day). A daily dose of 2 grams/day of MORTIMERS CAPSULES is safer than an oral dose of 3 grams/day.

Dosage for Treatment-Refractory Rejection

In clinical trials, the recommended initial and maintenance dose for the treatment of refractory rejection was 1.5 grams twice a day (3 grams/day).

Specialized Doses

If neutropenia occurs (absolute neutrophil count <1.3 x ^103/µL ), the dose should be stopped or reduced. SEVERE RENAL IMPAIRMENT: In patients with severe chronic renal impairment (glomerular filtration rate <25 mL/min/1.73 m2), dosages greater than 1 g twice a day should be avoided (except for immediate post-transplant use). These patients should be carefully monitored. No dose adjustment or compliance is required for patients with delayed recovery of renal function after transplantation.
